Capabilities
Focus Formulation and Consulting will perform full bench to manufacturing development of agricultural chemical products, including production of Confidential Statement of Formula for EPA submission. Capabilities includes Emulsifiable Concentrates (ECs), Suspension Concentrates (SCs or FL), Wettable Powders (WPs), Soluble Concentrates, Water Dispersible Granules (WDGs), and Impregnated Granules. Because technological advances and simplicity are combined and used, the customer can be assured to obtain the highest quality, most cost-effective formulation with the Focus on the end-user's satisfaction.
Focus Formulation and Consulting takes a direct approach in regards to the development of new formulations or the reformulation of existing products. Formulas are developed to match all potential use patterns and manufacturing sites, eliminating future reformulation for an added use. Only EPA approved inerts are used, eliminating timely and potentially costly delays in getting the product to market.
In addition to standard formulation development, Focus Formulation and Consulting will perform cost optimization and quality enhancement for improved margins and market share, as well as customer satisfaction.
Focus Formulation and Consulting will provide support for new or existing products, in-house or at toll facilities. Modifications to the process can be performed to improve quality and cost. Focus Formulation and Consulting will initiate scale-ups of developed formulations and existing formulations at various sites, including production of manufacturing manuals.
Mixing and handling problems are bound to happen, even with some of the best products. Focus Formulation and Consulting will provide resolutions of mixing and handling problems at the farm level to avoid costly complaints. Full tank-mix compatibility testing can be performed to minimize potential problems, or resolve existing ones. Focus Formulation and Consulting can make recommendations of improvements to problematic products to facilitate higher quality and lower cost.
Focus Formulation and Consulting can determine the best options to utilize old inventory or returned products due to quality issues. Simple blending, reformulation, or re-processing can all be evaluated, depending on the product. Full written recommendations will be provided, as well as follow up consultation.
